About Me

Kathleen - The student midwife: Hi everyone and welcome to Kathleen's Kafe! I have been a nurse since 1983 and I am now fulfilling my dream of becoming a nurse-midwife. I am also the mom of 9 children so I do have some personal stories to tell. This is a blog I have created for 2 reasons. 1) I have to survey consumers for an assignment in one of my classes on what you know about midwifery. 2) This is a place where you can relax, put your feet up and learn about the wonderful science of midwifery. Please feel free to leave comments or ask questions. I hope after your visit, you catch the fire and help bring midwifery as a birth choice to families my state.
